Promotional Information:

Duchesne Tunnel Campground near Kamas, UT, offers beautiful riverside camping with large, level sites. Known for its scenic location and proximity to Duchesne Tunnel, it's ideal for RV and tent camping. Be prepared for a bumpy entrance and potential ATV noise. Beautiful campground with some very level and very large sites! There were probably 5-6 longer RV sites and a bunch of smaller rv/tent sites. My travel trailer is 35’. All sites had fire pits and the campground is right next to the river, which was audible but not super loud. The lower rating is due to the very bumpy entrance and rocky hill descending to the campground as well as somewhat narrow roads throughout the campground. We pulled into the main area and scouted it out before pulling down a road that I couldn’t get out of. There were also some atv’s roaring through the campground over the weekends but it was very quiet during the week. Camping limit 14 days with the recreation pass for the Uintas. Bring cash unless you have an National Parks annual pass. Stop at the self serve stations (there are two en route to this campground). Walked down and checked out the tunnel. It was built for water to be channeled into the Provo River.
