Steep hill to walk up to the site. I must have gone up that hill 20 times this weekend. Great if you want to get in shape. The site is lovely and right across from the beach. (Nice for groups because you don’t need to drive and coordinate with others every time you want to go to the beach.) It’s a roomy site with 5 or 6 tables and a fire ring with a grill. I suggest packing very light and taking simple, easy to cook meals. The less trips you have to make to your car (especially after dark) the better. There is also a limit to the number of cars you are allowed to park here and the rest have to be taken elsewhere. Not a problem in the low season but in summer it would be an issue. It’s perfect for bicyclists who camp. Restrooms were clean.
