Great campground. Big sites. Great view, near the lake, and the boat launch is near. Vault toilets were in good shape. Great fire pits. Water spigot all over. We were able to use our small generator when we needed it without bothering anyone.
I love this campground so much! As tent campers who value the quiet, appreciate toilets and water spigots, and spacious sites with good views, Dutchman is amazing! The sound of generators is tolerable, due to the distance between sites (some, not all). Camp hosts are very helpful. There's another campground store down the road with reasonable laundry facilities. And of course, Deerfield Lake is lovely. Kayaking, fishing, hiking, and relaxing is readily available. ;)
I love this campground. I've been coming here every summer for the last few years and it's my go to in the Blackhills area. It's peaceful and fairly laid back. Very calming. Phone signal is lacking so you better like reading.
Nice campground. The campsites are awesome, they are all spread apart, so you're not camping right next to others. Many sites have a beautiful lake view!

Spent a lovely week at this campground! It's really peaceful, and the sites are plenty spacious. Super nice camp host! There's also a path down to a lake that feels very private, and it's near a boat launch onto that same lake. Definitely recommend!
