Customer Reviews
Eagles bluff has an awesome camping area and I have been coming here multiple times a year for over 10 years. We always stay in the late night camp and LOVED this place up until new management took over, we have camped with them 3 times since new ownership thinking they would get the hang of things but I was terribly terribly wrong! It has gotten worse each time. The last time we arrived in the evening and someone was in our spot, no biggie, we camped next to it that night. Office informed us next morning that we had to stay in family site. We get there and it is not electric and water (which we paid for), when I called they were very rude and tried to charge me again for electric and water....after they finally got us into a site they told us we missed our float while we were being moved site to site and could not go on the 12 mile we paid for. We even suggested doing half that day and half next and the lady was not having it. When we finally got to float the next day we had to wait 3 hours to even be taken to the drop off and then they had no rafts for another hour and a half! The rafts all had holes. The lady in charge at front desk does not care at all. The bathrooms were LITERALLY overflowing with feces and some had even went on the floors, there was puke everywhere. They kept telling us those bathrooms were being cleaned every hour but we could clearly see they didn't touch them ALL weekend at all. Worst experience ever!!!!! Sadly we are shopping for a new camp for this season!
I only did the float trip we didn’t stay at resort. We were kinda last minute and was so happy we were able to jump on the last bus headed out for the day. The employees were super nice and helpful. The supplies were decent. The bus driver was helpful in a couple different ways, drove safely, and super friendly. The area seemed clean of trash. I had a great adventure and looking forward to my next trip to the river. Thanks ❤️✌️
We like the campgrounds here because they are riverside. Unfortunately, the resort has opportunities for operational improvement. We had to wait 2-3 hours after check in before they dropped us off at public access. They need to figure out how to update their processes so it can run more smoothly and also have someone on site to ensure the bathrooms stay running.
We had a great time staying in the family campground. The only thing we would like them to do differently is if know not going to have a full campsite, don’t stack us all together. Spread out people so all groups are not so close. Other than that…the staff was amazing and very helpful and we had an amazing time. We will definitely be back
Love staying here. They try to keep the park clean. Having full hookups for our trailer is lovely. Also love that they are fine with us using our own kayaks and not attempting to force us to use theirs. They do charge a fee for hauling you if you have them do it and I am totally okay with paying that fee to use own equipment. This was our second stay this year and we had family or friends float with them both times. Can't wait to return and do it again. Can't comment on cabins or food since we didn't stay in them and we usually bought groceries in town which is not far away.
We stayed Memorial Day weekend, and we had so much fun. The pizza was awesome, it’s a big pizza and so delicious!! The cabana has a great view of the river, and so much seating. Also they had volleyball, and basketball courts. The staff were so friendly and Bethany was awesome she helped us so much, even with the weather that came in we still had so much fun. We definitely will be staying here again!! Also Lady 🐾 loved getting all the attention in the office, and all around the camp. I almost forgot they had bounce around set up for the kiddos, my 4 year old loved it.
My family and I loved going to Eagle Bluff over the mothers day weekend. We got therr at last minute and they accommodated very well and made the experience comfortable. Bethany, the office manager, was very nice and helped us with whatever we needed. The owner also stopped by after our float and asked us if we had a good time. I feel like they all really cared about my family and I having a good time. We will definitely be going back next time we camp and/or float.
I made a reservation to float. The day of the trip there was a thunderstorm. They refused to refund me. They were putting people on the river to float even though there was a lightning storm. So unsafe. I had to forfeit my deposit. I will always float with Arrowhead. They don’t require a deposit, do not have a 4 person minimum payment on rafts, and certainly do not put people on the river when it is unsafe.
We did an all day float trip with them and they were excellent! They were so nice, helped with our ice chest, and overall very pleasant and helpful! The boat we had was very nice and sturdy, the bus was clean, great times were had!
10/10 Recommend! We went over the weekend and we had a terrible experience the day before with another resort and these ladies and gentlemen all helped me and my family so so much! They went way above and beyond!!!! The place is so nice and the bathrooms and showers was so clean it was very very nice we will definitely be using them every time we come to float!! The camo grounds was nice we stayed in the late section and have no complaints!! THE STAFF WAS 10000/10000 ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE
