The campground features a variety of campsites that are relatively level and suitable for tents as well as small living quarters trailers. There are 2 pit toilets at the campground. No running water . The nearby creek is running well right now. The campsites are pretty level, and it looks like you can get some living quarters trailers in the sites. Lots of mosquitoes! The dirt road right before the horse camp is pretty rough. As of 7/14/23 the gate at the HC is closed. It is beautiful up there. We walked in to take a look.

This place is beautiful. Has become one of my favorite places to visit. Actually hate to give it a good review in fear more people will visit and ruin it. Please, if you pack it in, pack it out. Not many places like this left, let's keep it clean and beautiful.

Eagle Meadows is one the most lovely Sierra Nevada destinations. Very basic camping, be ready to rough it but you can't beat the beauty.

This is now a horse camp. No longer a family camp. It is NOT burned. Creek is full early summer. By September very little water.
