Stayed 1 night on June 30. We were happy we didn't select a campground close to river - when we walked to another campground next to river, the mosquitoes were brutal. Sites are nicely spread out, mostly RVs, a few tents. Very cold at night. Colder than we expected. Bring your own firewood as there isn't much deadwood to collect. Vault toilets, fire pits, picnic tables. Nice, cheap BLM campsite, close to main highway.

No longer blm campsite. It's paid. $15/night. 7.50 if you have the interagency pass, golden passport, regional/Forest pass. Etc... EDIT: DESPITE SLIP SAYING INTERAGENCY PASS, THE INTERAGENCY PASS DOES NOT GET YOU HALF OFF. FOR AN EXTRA 5/NIGHT, GO TO BEAVER CREEK AND GET A HOT SHOWER. Hosts were polite about it, but didn't seem to care when I asked them to change the sign. Windy, no doubt it gets cold. Good Verizon service on the right side of the camp.
