Eagle Nest Hidden Lake Resort Introduce
Introduction / Overview: Your Escape to the Tranquil Piney Woods of East Texas
For Texans who cherish the dense, calming environment of the Piney Woods, Eagle Nest Hidden Lake Resort offers a premium destination that expertly blends natural beauty with essential modern comforts. Located near the historic town of Garrison, and just a short drive from Nacogdoches, this facility is more than just a place to park your RV; it’s a dedicated resort environment that caters to short-term travelers, extended-stay guests, and those seeking a peaceful, secure retreat. The name itself hints at its most cherished feature: a picturesque, private lake nestled among rolling hills, providing a stunning backdrop for relaxation and recreation.
Customers consistently praise the resort for its well-maintained grounds, the spaciousness of its RV sites, and the genuine hospitality of the owners, who are often described as making guests feel "right at home." This friendly, family-oriented atmosphere, combined with key security features like a gated entrance, makes Eagle Nest Hidden Lake Resort a standout choice in the East Texas camping landscape. Whether you’re stopping overnight, booking a weekly fishing trip, or seeking a longer-term place to "call home," this resort aims to exceed expectations by offering a tranquil setting without sacrificing modern necessities like strong, fast Wi-Fi and full utility hookups.
Location and Accessibility: Garrison’s Hidden Gem on US-59
Eagle Nest Hidden Lake Resort is ideally situated for easy access in the Deep East Texas region. The address is 19299 US-59, Garrison, TX 75946, USA.
- Highway Convenience: Located directly on or immediately accessible from US Highway 59, a major thoroughfare (now part of the I-69 corridor), the resort is extremely easy to find and navigate, especially for drivers maneuvering large RVs. One reviewer noted the "pull through spot" made settling in easy, despite initially missing the turn.
 - Proximity to Nacogdoches: The resort is located approximately 9 miles north of Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas. This provides guests with quick access to the city’s historical sites, extensive shopping, dining, medical facilities, and the amenities of Stephen F. Austin State University.
 - Security and Privacy: A crucial feature highlighted by customers is that the property is gated for privacy and security. This enhances peace of mind for both short-term visitors and long-term residents.
 - Scenic Backdrop: Despite the highway proximity, the resort is situated on a "large plateau" surrounded by "rolling hills" and the beautiful East Texas pine forest, ensuring a scenic and relatively quiet environment once settled in the spacious sites.

The balance of highway accessibility and a secluded, private setting makes this location highly valuable for the Texas traveler.
Services Offered (Modern Comforts in a Natural Setting)
The resort provides a comprehensive suite of services that cater to both transient and long-term guests, ensuring a comfortable and connected stay:

Customer Reviews
The host was very helpful and guided us get into our pull through spot after I initially missed the turn. This RV Park is on a large plateau with plenty of spacious sites. The weather was cloudy during our visit, but I bet the night sky is normally awesome to view there. WiFi was strong and fast. This is definitely a good overnight stop.
I have loved staying at this RV park. The grounds are always kept clean and the owners make you feel right at home. This was just what I needed. Not to mention I captured some of the best sunsets here. The location is easy to find and I love the fact that it’s gated. No matter if you are looking for a short vacation or a place to call home you will not be disappointed. Thank yall for everything -Andie
Renne and Don are the best! We stayed here for 5 and a half months and wish we could stay longer. It's very quiet and kept very nice at all times. The laundromat is a big bonus for those who don't have one or for those who don't want to travel into town. It is the perfect place for pets. There is plenty of room to walk around or sit down by the lake to fish or eat lunch. The owners will help with anything and are always able to contact! 10/10 campground!
Mr Don and Mrs Renee are very wonderful folks and I can’t say enough on how great they made our stay there was! It’s very peaceful, clean, easy to setup on the camp sites, updated, beautiful view of the lake and all the property and the fishing was good as well! As I travel for work I only wish most RV sites were as great as this one! I highly recommend it even if it’s for a one night stay or for a couple months as we did. Thank you Mr Don and Mrs Renee for make us feel welcomed on your place and treating us like family. If ever we are passing thru there we will definitely stay again!
We stayed here almost six months. This place is wonderful. The owners Don and Renee are so nice and helpful. It is a pet friendly park and very peaceful. There is a laundry mat available. Deer sightings almost daily, and we even saw a bald eagle soaring over the lake! Cannot say enough nice things about this place. Highly recommend staying here.
