Beautiful lake with awesome views. Sunsets were amazing. Showers were okay ( by the boat dock) they could use some nozzle repairs. Fine mist spray that stings and goes out of the shower. I didn't go in or use the other showers in another section of the camp grounds. There are some electrical sites and pit toilets in other areas of the parks. I believe almost all of the camp sites have a pavilion. Pets must be leashed at all times. Trash bins and dumpsters are accessible. Sadly, some are too lazy to pack it in and pack it out! Please leave your campsite better than you found it.
Nice campground, The spaces and views of the lake are awesome. But only three stars from me. No where on their website do they mention that the bathrooms and showers are closed until April 1st. They also don't mention that the wifi hotspot isn't free. You have to sign up with some 3rd party company before it even tells you that it's not free. Great spot to park, just be prepared. Also... watch out for those evil "goat heads".
Gorgeous!! My friends and I were driving from Tulsa to Santa Fe and this was a great stopping point, erring on the side of being closer to Santa Fe. Not too crowded, the campsites were really spacious. There was a covering over all the picnic tables that we hung a hammock to. The site had fire pits, was about 3 min walk to the bathroom which had showers. The overlook was stunning! We weren’t sure if the water was potable so if you are a water purist, I’d buy it at the store.
Very clean site, very friendly Camp Hosts, awesome view.
Nice camping spot. I could wake up to this view every morning
