Eagles Roost RV Resort – Amazing Hospitality & Beautiful Grounds (10/10) Eagles Roost is one of those campgrounds that truly stands out—not just for its beauty but for the kindness of its owners. After the devastation of Hurricane Helene, they generously let us stay for free, showing just how much they care about their guests. That kind of hospitality is rare and so appreciated! The campground itself is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants, stores, and the scenic lakes of Lake Park, GA. The sites are spotless, with concrete pull-through pads that make setup a breeze. The public bathrooms and showers are some of the cleanest we’ve seen, which is always a huge plus. Full hookup amenities make for a comfortable stay, and there’s even a pool—a great way to cool off and relax! One of the unique perks is the neighboring flea market—busy but full of charm, with fresh fruits, vegetables, and unique finds. The entire atmosphere is welcoming, and everyone we met, from staff to fellow campers, was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area! The RV park has been ravaged by the hurricanes over the last several years including Helene. They lost many trees and damaged the rest of them. The RV park is a great location for overnight stays if you're traveling to Florida or back north due to being close to the highway. It has a small pool, swing set shuffle board and etc. which are old and not maintained. Overall it is a good place to stop overnight on your way through to your final destination.
Our first time traveling with an RV and the Eagle Roost was easy in and out, all hookups, WiFi that actually worked, pet friendly, staff was very friendly and professional and very quite and peaceful stay. Yeah us!!!
Good location a stones throw from I75. While you can see and hear the highway, it’s a few miles of driving to get to the park. We arrived near midnight, so our after hours reservation was on the board as promised. The location was conveniently near the clubhouse. Laundry and showers available. WiFi is free. 30/50 amp available. Good stop on our way to north Georgia.
This place is very convenient. Clean and calming. Ms. Susan always helps me when making my reservation. She is very accommodating and late arrivals are never a problem. A map of the park is provided, showing clearly how to find your spot. Eagle's Roost is not just a place for mom (me) to take a break from driving but is a part of our vacation, to & from, that we look forward to. Clearly, with the proximity to I-75, I believe it is mostly used for a stop-over, with hook-up accommodations and shower/restroom facilities. It is nice enough, however, that it could be used for a family getaway. I try to get there earlier in the evening so as to relax, eat dinner with my kids, maybe play cornhole, work on a puzzle, or watch a movie. Then we get a fresh early start the next morning. This breaks up my drive time to Disney, as I drive much slower while pulling the camper. P.S. we always look forward to seeing the kitty, who my family has nicknamed Mittens, like in the movie Bolt.
