Just got back to reality, If your looking for peace and quiet this is the place. It's a little outdated could use some repairs but we liked it . Staff was very cool quick check in and out . The place we stayed in was a 3 bdrm /kitchen, dining room, living rm 2 baths..small washer dryer. Relaxing weekend seen deer running by early in the morning and we were by the lake . They have a pool (NO lifeguard) games like pinball etc . pool table and outside they have a small section to BBQ. 4 grills total .Overall we enjoyed ourselves has an old rustic look and feel .Pitch black at night all you hear is the wildlife Would definitely return.....
The environment is nice, but it's quite outdated, the wifi isn't the best, there's a TV but no channels? And the room was not completely clean when we came in, with a few things falling apart.
This place continues to reach out to me telling me I own a property with them when I don't, and never have. They continue to reach out to me when I told them to stop, and they have the wrong person.
Great place for a family outdoor fun. Bring your own blankets and pillows.place is outdated but still fun. Regarding restaurants and supermarkets etc, you need to drive out about 30-45 min. Enjoy.
I am a timeshare owner who is fed up with Eagle Village and their lack of communication. Are they going bankrupt and not admitting it.? They have not maintained the units. The last time I was there the outer door would not close. the stairs were half rotted. Floating dock on land. Good we brought our own kayaks but getting to the lakeshore area was worth your life, or at least your tires. Lovely location in sad shape. Now they have been dumped by RCI , who seized the points accrued by EV owners. Nice. Calls go unanswered. Letters are not responded to. Until today when I got a letter from a collection agency for not paying my yearly assessment this year after RCI dumped them.. Why would I? Where is it going? I read in the letter they sent that there would be a directors meeting to share info and make decisions in Feb. Hello? It is April but no word here from the directors. What a sad mess. I will continue to keep the funds till I hear from someone in EV with real information. PS Don't waste your vacation there.
