We love staying at Earl Warrens RV park. We have stayed there a couple of times. Everyone is very friendly!! Yes it is more of a parking lot campground, but very clean and safe!!! Close to lots of places to visit in Santa Barbara. We will be back!!
My family and I came to park here not knowing it was a private parking lot. We stopped for maybe 2 minutes (mind you a completely empty parking lot) and a lady came out. As my family was going to use the restroom in our trailer she asked rudely "can I help you guys" and we said "we're using our restroom in our trailer". Again in a rude tone she said to us "so you're stopped here to use your restroom" and we said "yes we are" meanwhile she starts to spew nonsense about how we have to pay to Park here. Which yes that's fine if we have to pay we just didn't know. However she started saying it's 30 dollars per vehicle for "part of the day". We had 2 vehicles and we were only there to see my great grandma for an hour. So how does the price not change when we told her we only needed to stay an hour. She had no sympathy or kindness whatsoever. So if you go here be weary of the mean old karen.
This park is very basic. It was exactly as advertised though. Cheap for the area and the park is quiet most days. A few music events took place while here but unless you stay up past 10 pm it’s quiet. Susan is an amazing host.
Place is roomy Showers are under construction, but wouldn't have used them anyway being it's just two of us. 15 minutes from all major locations in Santa Barbara and Gas station not far away. Other then when others arrived, only noise came from the Golf Course next door, which wasn't much. We ARE coming back. Well, two weeks later, we returned for another stay. Park was busier but yet, no noise . Great location and place to stay.
This place should be a last resort if you are desperate! You are basically in a rented event center parking lot. They had a huge fiesta wedding with a band thumping and window rattling until late in the evening. The thumping literally shook our souls. Was not told any of this. If this hall is rented, YOU WILL NOT SLEEP HERE!
