East Canyon Resort

So the winter months are very slow up here so we decided to do a friend’s getaway. It’s snowing and the roads are very slippery so we parked behind our friend and got a $50 ticket. There is hardly anybody up here. Most of the places are empty yet they’re gonna nitpick on that. I’ve been up here in the past and they nitpick on every little thing I would think twice before coming up, There are better places that are more chill and understanding. And have better accommodations.

We helped a bride decorate her wedding event. The staff was great to work with and accommodating. The lodge and natural scenery there are awesome. The Bride and her family were happy. We hope to help there again soon. Arbor Meadows Decor

Allison was fantastic to coordinate with for our wedding. We had a few unexpected changes last minute and she made sure we were informed 100% along the way. The staff was amazing with set up, instructing people when to walk down the aisle and making sure we all knew what to do. They were quick to respond when we needed something and all around made our day as least stressful as possible. The condos were easy access to the lodge, clean and well kept. Stocked with every basic need (dishes, salt and pepper and utensils). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms didn’t freak me out like some rentals do. Thank you to the entire ECR staff for keeping me calm and feeling secure with you handling such a big day got us.

Crap still on the toilets. There with a family for a reunion. They said that only members can use the trails, so the 4 wheelers had to go or pay extra for trailer parking. Since this was meant to be a 4 wheeler trip, it was very disappointing for me and many of the family reunion attendees. There is also a inspection required to check for spark arrestor, fire extinguisher, and other things on each machine. I was willing to get at least one machine "inspected" , but then they told me that since I was not directly a member, I could not ride any of the trails. I lost half the weekend driving the trailer home and bringing back fishing supplies, and just fishing at the lake. I would never recommend getting a place here.

I have been going to East canyon at least once a year since the 90’s. It is a very fun getaway that is still close to home and is my families favorite relaxing vacation that we take. We swim and hot tub, play pickleball and other yard games that the resort has available, and spend a day paddleboarding at the reservoir which is less than 10 minutes away. The beds are not extremely comfortable and occasionally management misses some things like when the kitchen items go missing and aren’t resupplied. But overall, East canyon resort is a really fun and relaxing place to get up to the mountains and spend time as a family with fun outdoor activities.
