This was our second visit to East Fork with two of our horses in early October 2024. we enjoyed Our stay, although our campsite was right above the main highway. The entire Campground was very crowded But it was still a nice atmosphere and the trails we chose were not terribly busy. The trails to the overlook were fairly easy with just the right amount of up and down and not too many rocks for our barefoot horses. The staff was very accommodating, and we were even able to turn our Horses out in one of the paddocks for part of the time. Restrooms and showers we eat and clean but pretty far from our campsite. We took our dogs with us, but they were always with us at the campsite and we left them behind when we went on the trails. Highly recommend this horse camp!
We are excited for the new trail park to open in March..
If you love riding the trails on your horse or mule, beautiful overlooks, comfy stalls and top notch camping facilities please check this place out. We've been several times and this is my favorite place to camp and ride. The staff is like family and do everything they can to make you feel at home!
Well maintained camp and trails. Campsites are spaced well and easy to access. Trails offer single track and buggy width. Open pasture or wooded forest with vista views.
Nice people and trails. But the campsite was short, smashed between rigs and on a downhill slant! I had to unhook because otherwise my trailer wouldn't fit. And unhooking on a downhill with a big dropoff behind was terrifying. If they had told me when I booked on the phone I would have brought extra big chocks and been prepared. To get level I had to put the back wheels on blocks and lower the front to the ground. I don't recommend Campground D in the 40s range.
