We stayed at this campground due to its proximity to family members. We LOVED it. They were able to accomodate our 40' bus plus a 24' trailer with plenty of space to unload our vehicle, park, unhitch and store our trailer. The grounds are beautiful, full of trees with hanging moss, and the campground was relaxing and quiet. I enjoyed spending an afternoon at the pool which was spacious and immaculate. The staff is friendly and helpful and every night, when returning from our adventures with family, we were wished a blessed evening by the gate guard. Looking forward to returning for a much longer stay.
snowbirds, if your looking to stay and enjoy swimming, the pool is not heated enough. after a cool night the temp drops to around 70. would be great if they could keep the temp at mid 80 temps to enjoy during Dec to March. most other parks keep park pools at 83 to 85 for their guest to enjoy.
We throughly enjoyed the RV resort. Initially we were given a site with a few issues. But when we went back to the office, They took great care to remedy it. The office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It was too chilly to actually use the pool, but it's so nice looking! We will definitely be back!
Awesome place to stay. The office staff was really nice and were a pleasure to deal with as well as the maintenance crews and the house keeping staff. I would definitely recommend staying here as the park itself is beautiful with nice tree coverage and open areas as well for a nice blend of shade and sun. They also have airboats!! What!! Guess what we are doing on our next visit?!?!
I fully expected to be staying in a standard “Fish Camp” room. Man, was I surprised! These rooms were very nice. They looked like they were just renovated to be brand new. I was disappointed they were a short distance to the lake and not on the lake & our group was separated by a few rooms, but over all we had a great experience.
