I was there to see the camp meeting building. It looked like a nice place to camp or rent a cabin. I was very happy that the bookstore was preparing to open and they let us purchase some item.
Had never known of this place until I visited a friend who lives nearby and gave us a tour of the grounds. Apparently folks from around the world have been coming here for religious retreats on Native land.
Since 2007, I've made a point to drive over to as many camp services as I can. This is a great campmeeting and Christ-centered community.
Love ERC. Been going there since I was a teenager. But they just sold the cottage my friend and I stayed in and now they only have one left and it is already taken for 2023! So not sure what we will do in the future. But I do want to attend the Camp Meetings!
The holiness camp meeting runs for ten days each year and features a wonderful selection of ministers, missionaries, and pastors each night. The camp is very kid friendly and features care and programming for all ages and an amazing ice cream parlor with cones for a buck. The river can be accessed by all members and housing is readily available, from the campground to the homey Grace Hotel, to the cottages. Trails run behind the loops of cottages and around the field where wildlife regularly feed. There is something for everyone to do in every age group.
