Echo Basin Cabin and RV Resort

My husband and I got married at Echo Basin in September of 2024, and we could not have been happier with the wedding. Everything from the rooms, to the ceremony site, dinner, drinks, etc was absolutely perfect. As a perfectionist everyone in my life tried to tell me to expect something to go wrong and I can confidently say that due to Tom and his staff there was not a single hiccup on our wedding weekend. We rented out the outdoor pavilion for our rehearsal and it was such a perfect space to hold our guests. We received access to the reception hall at 3pm the day before our wedding so we were able to spend all evening setting up and decorating exactly how we wanted. (A perfectionist dream) Tom was able to get us extra tables for the room right away, during hair and makeup we realized we forgot a big mirror, no issue, Tom personally brought one down to our cabins. Everything was set up on time, the food was wonderful, we even has leftovers, all our drink ideas were accommodated perfectly. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding, look no further than Echo Basin. Our entire family rented cabins and we got to spend three days with everyone we loved, celebrating our marriage.

I honestly can't say enough about this place! If I could leave 10 stars I would. It's super cozy and friendly, clean, nice, beautiful and extremely family friendly. We loved the pool, the restaurant, walking trails, the sites and just everything about Echo Basin. The staff is extremely nice and very easy to work with. We called last minute and they were able accommodate or stay. We had so much fun while there and met a lot of AMAZING people. We are planning our next trip back!

Our daughter's wedding at Echo Basin could not have gone better. Tom was so helpful throughout the past year as details of the wedding weekend were figured out, promptly answering calls and emails and meeting us multiple times on site and making every attempt to accommodate our every wish. Our guests raved about the food--barbecue for the welcome dinner and taco bar for the wedding reception. I highly recommend Echo Basin for a wedding weekend experience. Having most of the guests stay two nights on site made it so fun for everyone. We had s'mores at the bonfire the night before, a wedding day morning volleyball game, hayrides to the forest ceremony site and a music jam until 1 a.m. Some guests said they felt like they were at summer camp or a bluegrass festival! All against the backdrop of stunning natural beauty and for a fair price. Thank you Tom and staff for your hard work and friendliness.

Due to Hurricane Francine, we had to make last minute vacation changes 3 days before we were scheduled to leave. Much to our surprise, there were 2 spots left here. Once we arrived, I felt like we had won the camping site lottery as this place was amazing! Not only was it well maintained, there were lots of amenities (small golf area, pickle ball, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, and a small bar). Each site had a fire pit and picnic table. I highly recommend this place!

This was an awesome campground with an awesome restaurant. It was the best campground we stayed at on our 15-day trip. The only complaint we had was that the pool was very cold.
