Mt. St. Helens is also located "just up the road," making the resort a convenient base for exploring the volcano and its surroundings.

The resort is popular and tends to be "very busy," so making reservations is highly recommended. The proprietors, Mark Smith and his wife, along with their team (including James and Johnny), are lauded for their wonderful service. Eco Park Resort is presented as a "great place to chill out and take in nature."

Currently, no specific promotional information beyond the mentioned food and the overall experience is available from the provided reviews. 5 Star - Off Grid accommodations. No electricity in the cabins, but solar power lights them. The cabins are weather tight, clean, and my bed was very comfortable. I recommend their food. Mark is a mean cook and baker. The steak was delicious and the pie was to die for. The best part of the Eco Park Resort is Mark and his wife. Truly great people. Hospitality you don't experience in business anymore. Thanks you guys very much for a great stay! Brian Jackson

I love this place. Make your reservations as it is very busy. The proprietor Mark Smith and his wife are wonderful people, and all who help him run the resort. Great place to chill out and take in nature. Ride your bike or fish. Have a Weyerhaeuser St. Helens tree farm recreation permit? This place is centrally located surrounded by the St. Helens tree farm. A zillion roads all around you and Mt. St. Helens is just up the road. I have stayed here and loved it. I will be back next season. Check out Mark, James, Johnny and the rest of the fellas. Mark is a pretty good cook too. Try the sampler breakfast or the Elk steak when available.

We had a great family stay here in 3 of the cabins, and Mark the owner was so friendly and accommodating, as well as the other staff. The dinner and breakfast at the cafe were very good and so convenient. It was a short drive to all of the Mount St. Helens lookouts and attractions. I think people need to just keep in mind that this is more like camping, and if you want climate control and more amenities you should look elsewhere. That being said there are heaters in the cabins (although it was warm when we went so didnt need them) and shared facilities with shower and bathroom that are kept in good shape.

Rustic and environmentally friendly. Well maintained by Mark and James. Cafe had delicious handmade food, with good vegan options. The gift shop had tshirts and souvenirs and was reasonably priced. Horses are friendly and can be petted, although I gather there isn't trail riding any more. The cabin was clean and beds are comfy. The porch had a swing and looked out over a lovely meadow. I hope to come back some time for a longer stay. It was really nice!

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years. We are welcomed each time by owner Mark as though we are old friends. Bathrooms and showers are always clean and the food is amazing. Mark cooks all himself and there are always a couple of homemade pies daily for after dinner treats. Highly recommend.
