Econo Lodge Darien Lakes

The place is amazing. I came up here for an amazon contract I drive trucks, so I was across the street at the pilot truck. And my fan went out And my truck, so this is in the Wintertime. So I had to go get a hotel room in the meantime. The ladies that work here on all shifts are super 👌 nice and friendly The rooms are outstanding. The showers are good granted. They don't serve breakfast does but they do have coffee. The price is a line is a good deal from Priceline. Overall satisfaction 100% Recommend

Everybody in the area knows this is the dumpiest hotel to stay at anywhere. That's why they never have any customers and seem to be struggling. They can't even take advantage of the parking lot they have in the back, which is a poorly maintained, potholey, dump in itself. They just allow all of Speedway's truck overflow to park there with no issues and don't even let other people who park back there know the deal. The least they can do is charge people to stay in the dirt lot, even the truckers who stay there who get no discrimination. If the ownership either started charging all vehicles to park back there or just put a no trespassing sign up, then it would be clear who was allowed to park there. I've known many people who've stayed there who have told me they never will again. Today showed me the why behind that. Never again. I will never go anywhere close to this place ever again until they figure out their shit and I caution other drivers and travelers to stay away from there as well. Not worth a headache, not worth your time, not worth your business. Absolutely horrible. All around.

Was worried driving up to this older looking property, but I was pleasantly surprised by the front desk agent, who was super helpful and friendly, and the clean, mildly updated room (wood plank flooring). Several truck stops around but otherwise an isolated and quiet location off the toll road. Only complaint was the bad WiFi and T-Mobile reception. Note no breakfast.

This hotel is a convenient place to stay if you are going to Darien Lake, and is more affordable than staying at the park itself. The front desk staff recommended us eating at a nearby restaurant (The Log Cabin), which was fantastic. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. The hotel itself could use some updates, and it would be nice for breakfast to be included given the price, but all around it was a nice stay. We will go back.

The whole building reeks of weed. But otherwise, the place is alright. Clean enough for most people's standards. Definitely cheap. But clean. The place has a lot for large vehicles with trailers to park.
