Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Foley-North Gulf Shores

The room was clean, well-stocked and had great features. Our suite had a full-sized frig, dish washer, stove top, and small microwave. The front desk staff, Janet, was friendly and accommodating. Rhonda, the breakfast staff was extra helpful and friendly. It had a pretty outdoor pool and very nice hot tub. We would definitely consider staying here again. Good motel for a good price!

I don't usually rate things on here but I felt the need to rate this one. The Econo Lodge is usually our go to but in order to save a little money, we chose to stay else where. That turned into a mistake. The hotel we first went to didn't have any hot water. We were traveling with small children and they were unable to bathe. As adults, we didn't want cold showers either. It was in the 40s outside. I contacted Econo Lodge with my problem. They immediately found us a room and allowed us to check in @7:30am for no extra charge. They were extremely accommodating. To top it off, the stay was great. Rooms beautifully redone. Everything worked properly. Smart TVs in rooms. My littles loved the room and breakfast so much! Thank you Econo for turning a bad situation into a beautiful stay!

Our room was great. Everything was clean and in good condition. Check-in & check-out went smoothly. The breakfast was okay and offered several hot food options as well as cereal and yogurt. The pool and hot tub really made our stay and we enjoyed a bedtime swim every night since the pool was open until 11. The location was convenient to shopping and places to eat. We loved the Poke Bowl place right next door. The beautiful Gulf Shores beach was only about 15mins away. Our only complaint would be the teenagers who partied loudly all night Saturday night in the parking lot near our room/vehicles.

UPDATE 2: They got us into the room they promised. UPDATE: this morning, upon going to the front desk, the woman told me that the accommodations I discussed with the woman last night, are not able to be met. She said she was going to call me in a little while to see if we will be able to be moved, but the woman last night specifically told me that she was going to move us this morning. I’m pretty aggravated about it. So, I hit a snafu at check-in through NO FAULT of Econo. The woman at the front desk, I’m not positive of her name, but MAYBE Christy. She did her best to make some accommodations for me and was very kind and understanding. They are pet-friendly, which is hard enough to find, but their pet fee was only $27.50 after tax, which I thought was awesome. The rooms are clean. There were two mini fridges, a microwave, and your basic toiletries. I don’t normally write a whole lot of reviews, but I really appreciated the front desk lady’s kindness after a long day on the road.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms and decor are simply beautiful. This location is the best value and you get so much more for your money including a hot breakfast each day.
