The staff was excellent! The young man that pumped gas, the cleaning lady, the maintenance man everyone that we encountered were very nice. Didn't really like the layout of the property. We had to drive wherever we went or walk up and down a very steep hill. With that said, I recommend this place because the people are so helpful and nice!
Unfortunately this place has become a far cry of the experience I've had to the years prior. First off the wait times were tremendous while having to clean our own table just to set down. On top of that took roughly an 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our food with a half occupied restaurant. Once we actually did receive our food it was cool, bland, and one of the items actually were served with something that isn't even on the menu (patty melt served with thousand Island not listed on the menu to which the cook said that's just how we do it anyway) Sadly will not be back to a local favorite until there are some major changes....
Its a very good fishing area and there are plenty bass and catfish to be caught there!
Would be a fun little place to hang out at night. Breakfast was very tasty. Pricey for limited options. They had pancakes and biscuits and gravy And bacon and sausage and eggs. Staff were very friendly..
Been going here for years. Great people, good food
