Customer Reviews
My family stayed here for 3 months while for a travel nurse assignment. A beautiful campground right on the river. It's away from the city so no noisy traffic, but also about 10 minutes away from the walmart which is convenient . Respectable prices. The owner makes sure it's well kept and clean all the time. He's also very quick and responsive if you need anything. There's plenty of space between sites and a nice playground for kids. Definitely recommend!
I just stayed at Ehrie's for a few days and it was perfect! It's a "no frills" campground so if you are looking for laundry, pool, etc. keep looking, if you are looking for a beautiful setting along the water with gorgeous scenery then this is the spot! It did get crowded and full Fri & Sat night but the seems to be the norm in 2020. It wasn't too rowdy or loud and it was peace and quiet during quiet hours. A great place to stay if you want to unplug because there is zero AT&T. The owner Brad was terrific to deal with when making reservations!
This place made our weekend. We got a spot last minute after being very unhappy with our first campsite. The owner was very responsive, friendly, and helpful and the grounds are gorgeous and quiet. Thank you for saving our trip! Stay here if you are looking to enjoy the peaceful countryside and fishing creeks in northeast Iowa.
A wonderful place very friendly, accommodating, beautiful and quiet. Waste tanks must be emptied in town at the city’s camp ground ( no problem ) the only downsides to the place is it is a mile plus on a gravel road. ( many camp grounds in the area are) and no cell service. However plans are in the works to put In WiFi. The bottom line is that I will camp there again, it’s wonderful.
Nice, quite and well taken care of campground. It's on the upper Iowa River. Access to the river isn't very good. When we were their, the river was high and running fast. So we didn't do anything on it. It's a nice place to park the camper. Sitting by the fire and relax.
