Chose a new area to stay. QUAIL RUN. It has electric and water. There were campers, and tents staying at the sites. There are so many different birds around. I am not a bird person but did enjoy watching the many types flying around. I could not be quiet enough to take pictures of them. The grounds are well maintained, I did have to clean out the fire pit to use it. It was pretty well filled to the brim. Not sure if it is campers responsibilities or the camp host, or grounds keepers. There a roof covered seating area that you could have a large gathering. Plenty of unreserved sites if a reservation was not made. Soon, summer will be here and it will be more crowded.

Nice campsite. The flow was a little strange, like we were supposed to pay before seeing the sites and setting up instead of the regular 'pick something open and the host comes to you to pay'. The views were nice and at sites we spaced out a least on the side by the lake. Bathrooms were okay. Not super clean but tolerable for camping.

Busy beach during the day, lots of police partroling also over the June 19th weekend to keep people safe! There was a mud run which drew a lot of people. Wear water shoes in the lake too, lots of rocks. Clean beach!

We like where we are, but some places are kinda barren and super close together. There are definitely prime spots and then not so prime...
