The area is beautiful, but the campsites are overpriced at $35/night with almost no amenities. The shower has been closed for over a year, and the bathrooms are rarely cleaned. If the showers are gone and the bathrooms are dirty, the price needs to be lower.

Beautiful area near the lake, but dog owners beware! Tons of foxtails that get stuck in dog fur and can cause problems. My dog got a few.

This campground has water access, running toilets, electric and water hookups, and first-come, first-served sites. $24/night for non-electric tent sites. The camp host was great, and the grounds were clean. Most sites are spacious. The walk-in tent sites are closer together but have a table and fire ring. Little to no shade, so bring a canopy. The lake is great for swimming, fishing, and boating. The swimming area is rocky, but the water gets deep quickly. Dogs are welcome. It's a 40-minute drive to Gunnison National Park, but highway 58 was closed, making it a 2-hour drive around the lake, so check road conditions. Overall, a great campground (my second time here), highly recommended. Bring a canopy for shade!

Great campground with a beautiful lake view. Our site was level and not too far from the national park. Close to Gunnison, which is a fun town.

We love the view! Bathrooms are immaculate! Could use more shade trees (an awning would be great!). Price: $24 non-electric, $34 electric.
