While this place gets 5 stars, make sure you're certain of perfect weather before setting up here. Seems a chance of rain almost daily so check weather many times before camping here. Elevation seemed to be 9000+. Campground is relatively covered by trees and requires a $12 self-pay fee (per individual site), about 5-8 different spots, group sites and a couple smaller spots as well. Fine for tent if perfect weather, although spaces are close together. Dispersed sites nearby are not covered well, although nearby trees. Seems breezy, near the peak and exposed on one side of mountain (views are amazing from entryway though).
Nice spot with good water. 1-2 bars of 4G Verizon can be found within walking distance of the campsites. Excellent spot to fill water if you are boondocking nearby!
