June 21st we stayed the night for a DMB concert at Alpine Valley 👍 short distance and everything you need for an overnighter. Sites are numbered by placards in the grass. Sites were challenging to find but everyone seems to get close to their site near an outlet and faucet. We would stay here again given another concert in the area

Moderately priced at $40, not a lot of amenities just basic pull up, plug in for 30 amp service and that's about it. It was easy to make reservations online, and the auto responses were nice. You are basically in the middle of the County Fairgrounds. We never talked to a camp host and nobody approached us. Unless you had a need to be at the Walworth County Fairgrounds, I probably would not choose it as a destination campground, but if you need a place overnight in getting from here to there it's nice.

Beautiful little campground. We stayed on a Sunday night so hardly anyone else there. Loved the shade trees in our section (408). Only suggestion would be to make sure you know your site on the map. The sites are not well marked. The grass was cut and trash collected early Monday. Perfect stop over. In town, so easy to cycle around.

We stopped there on our way to Rushmore and it was a nice place, easy to access electricity and water. We were basically alone, except for another camper. I guess the fact that there was no fair during our stop explain this great quietness! A lot of shades but difficult to find our site since locations are on the ground and difficult to read but we ended up just picking one. We got there at 6pm and even if you call there is no assistance available.

came here for a jaripeo and had so much fun! entrance was a little confusing but was fine once we got in. we drove 3 hours to go to the jaripeo and everyone that was there was really friendly too. would definitely love to go again for another jari! wish they did them all the time but on different days :( parking was fine, didn’t have to pay which was a bonus.
