Customer Reviews
We stayed for Memorial Day Weekend. We arrived before Memorial Day on Thursday and the park looked like a ghost town. There were only a handful of campers. As the days progressed the park filled up but was never at full capacity. The restrooms were “cleaned” daily however the shower curtains all had mold on them. The workers were all kind and busy all the time. It would be really nice if they just invested in some new shower curtains. There was a diet soda can on the floor of one of the showers. ****Edit: As far as the drinks and food offered, I had one drink but couldn’t have any of the food as it contained wheat a severe allergy of mine. I also purchased a $10 bag of ice so that more than covered the cost of my one drink. This park needs to invest in upgrades to the restrooms. It takes a long time for mold to grow on shower curtains to the extent that it’s 8 to 10 inches up in the creases. They have shower curtains designed to resist mold and after washing the showers if the curtains are allowed to dry opened that would help keep the mold down too. The two star rating is based on the many other KOA’s that we have frequented from PA to WA state. It’s honest NOT harsh. The workers can only work with the tools they are given.
We arrived late but our pitch envelope was waiting. Plenty of space and grassy. The guy came round later offering us wood for a fire which was great service. All in all a good night here. Thank you
Would give it a zero if allowed! Even when we booked 5 months in advance, they still could not accommodate our family to be near us:. Yet there was an open spot next to our camper, which they later rented to a car....Our children were so disappointed the pool was closed. The first day they noticed pieces of the pool liner in the pool! The showers were horrible! Trough style drain would not drain so you ended up showering in other people's filth. They allow a mangy cat to roam. No supervision ....people were allowed to let their dogs roam without leashes. Sewage spills next to our drain. They advertise fishing but do not provide public areas for it. You'll need an extension cord as the hookups are on opposite sides that is if you dare to stay here. Trash and food left in rec room and half the games were broken. We left a day early! And of course no refund!
We made reservations with friends for July 2024, but had to cancel well ahead of the cancellation period. I was told I would have a credit that needed to be used within one year. I called today to request an extension due to my husband having a knee replacement surgery. I was now told it is their policy that I needed to call within 90 days to reschedule. I was not so informed. Even though I paid for a premium site, they refused to own their error, and honor the credit. As a small business owner, my word is my worth. Unfortunately, others do not conduct their business by that same standard. I will not be supporting this business in the future.
I stopped here on a Saturday evening to find a place to dump my RV septic tank. This place closed at 6. They do have an after hours envelope system to use. But they charge $40 just to dump! I decided that we can wait till down the road for $10 at the next Loves. Use the Loves app to find a cheaper place.
