The map on recreation.gov doesn't accurately reflect the campsite locations. With that said, almost all of the site are great. We stayed at site 15. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Enough room to park your car and tent camp. It you are driving an RV, I'd only recommend sites 1-7 though. There were bears, mountain lions & mountain goats throughout the site and near by area too. The only downside really was you could hear the generator from the damn running all night but it wasn't too loud.

Camped here for one night. Some of the spots when you enter are close together so if there are kids or teenagers around, you can expect to have noise at all hours. I really enjoyed our time camping and paddle boarding on the reservoir. There was a trail down to the water where we were at so we just climbed down and launched from there. Beware of mountain storms coming in at any given time. There was no burn ban so we were able to have a fire.

Nice campground with absolutely gorgeous views, but a little crowded for my tastes. Vault toilet available if you need it . We were on site 3 and there was no shade but it did have a nice path down to the water ! Bear boxes available (and definitely use them!!! We did see a bear while camping there) Verizon does NOT have service here but AT&T does, if that’s important to you! No running water or electric if you need that. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Firewood available also.

This was such a great place! We were in spot 14 and it was perfect. Nice big space with shade, and more private than the others. There was a small little stream and rocks for the kids to play in right next to our site. You could also easily walk down to the lake. Beautiful views - and we had no problems putting stakes in the ground. The host, Drew, was so nice and gave us great recommendations. The bathrooms were very clean which was much appreciated! We will be back!

Sweet spot with nice views. The reservoir looked a little low, but there was lots of snowmelt running into it. This helped to conceal any noise of other campers in the area. There is a toilet (outhouse style) but no running water. Each site comes equipped with a bear box, picnic table, and BBQ pit. Best of all there are lots of trees and vegetation. (***Please note: bear boxes are not for leaving trash!! Pack it out)
