We stopped here as a 3 day layover while we were moving from Arizona to Idaho. We ended up in the wrong campsite but the staff was super friendly and allowed us to stay and even gave us a little discount because we originally paid for power. With that said, there is a little outdoor kitchenette that you can use at the non power sites. There is a sink, power plug-ins and a stove top. It is a community camper use but I was so happy we did not get on the power side because being able to see the stars at night was gorgeous! The KOA staff is extremely friendly, professional and kind, as well as accommodating! We ended up coming in after hours and they already had everything set up for us at the front office door area. That is how we ended up in the wrong place. It was our fault not theirs. It was dark. There are quite a few ghost towns to visit and shopping is centrally located close to this KOA. Tent sites are grassy and pretty comfy. We have already decided that next year we are going to come camping here for our family vacation. Thank you to the ely KOA for an amazing, relaxing time during a stressful cross-country move! We will be back!

Love this place. Sites are well maintained, well spaced and no low tree branches. Has direct access to OHV trails. Peaceful and quiet at night. Great dog area. We like it so much that we are going to come back for a longer stay.

Great campground. Nicer than many Holidays we've stayed at! The site wasn't super level but not bad. We were hoping to stay hooked up but had to unhook to get level. Fantastic scenery, would definitely stay again!

I was not a guest at this KOA, however, the manager T.J. changed my tire, fixed another one and treated me with great kindness and sympathy. He expressed concern about my safety and definitely went above and beyond to help me. The grounds looked well kept and maintained with a variety of accommodations. I was thoroughly impressed and very grateful for his time and attention that Sunday afternoon.

I highly recommend Ely KOA campground. It can accommodate almost any size rv. They have sites with all hookups or no hookups. The bathrooms are spic and span. The associates are super friendly, and the check-in clerk gave me lots of ideas for exploring Ely. This place is pretty big, I would imagine there are lots of families during the summertime. It's a beautiful location and with lots of trees for shade. The campsite location is in a quiet area, away from any road traffic. KOA's are usually a little bit more pricey than my off-grid locations. But I always know I'm going to have a nice day whenever I stay at a KOA.

My husband and I stayed here for a night on our way to Lake Tahoe. The RV park is right off the highway, so it was easy to find and easy to navigate to. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. They also had a pretty extensive camp store for RV needs and souvenirs. We’d stay here again if in the area.

The only small thing I ever had an issue with here was literally parking my camper on even ground, but that’s as expected. Other than that, I stayed here for almost a year for work, and it was one of the best places I’ve been. Very friendly staff that helped me out when work got a bit hectic. I payed for multiple months at a time and they kept track of it and didn’t try to scam me out of any money. Final thing, it’s so quiet. If you want a peaceful place that the spaces are very spaced apart, people aren’t throwing parties 24/7, and you’re not next to a city where rush hour sounds like 30 freight trains going through your camper then go here. Most I ever heard were fireworks on the 4th of July, but other than that and the occasional big rig (once maybe every other week to every month when things inside my camper were quiet), everything was about as peaceful as it gets. Also they got propane hookups for long term residents that you don’t have to worry about as long as you pay $75 one time cost and about $350 for a full tank. Lasted me about 2 months to run it dry from full, so take that as you will. I want to come back, but I’ll have to see with my job.

My best experience and feelings during our stay here. The staff members are 5 stars all the time. Very quiet place, full hookup spaces with fire pits. Heated water supply connections, free Starlink WiFi everywhere.

1 night stop while on the road. Decent park, nice people. Looks like good shade here in the Summer. Close to town. We'd stay again.
