This little off-grid county run campground is a hidden jewel. There's no hookups at all, which keeps the bigger rigs away mostly it seems. There are outhouses and hand water pumps throughout the campground. There are no dump stations for RVs. There is a beach area with picnic tables and a grill. Check-out is 3pm, Check-in is 5p. Sites are first come, first served. I recommend making reservations at least a week in advance.

There is a great trail around the lake that makes for an enjoyable walk. It's just over a mile all together. You can bring your dog, needs to be on a leash. Campsites placed all around the lake and appear to be well kept. We plan to come back to camp! It's 17/night from what we saw posted.

By far my favorite (off grid ) vacation spot! If you want your families attention without all the technology of life-this is the best place to take them! No cell service, Quiet, and earthly! No door dash out here! Fishing, BBQ, Music, Campfires and Memories are all you can expect here! No electricity! Hand pumped well water and outhouse is the facilities! Perfect slice of get away Heaven!!!

Couldn't hear nature or sleep due to generator noise. The ranger wouldn't stop a family from running theirs 24/7 even though it breaks posted rules. If people have an RV or health issues that require a generator they should be forced to camp elsewhere or given designated spots away from rustic campsites. The noise ruins the whole point of going to a rustic campground.
