Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort

Our family had a wonderful experience at this location!! The gentleman that checked us in was kind, professional, and very helpful. The room view was amazing and the upgrades were fantastic for the children. The check in process was long but the kindness of the staff made the wait okay. If you stay during their peak season, you do have to get to the pool kinda early to reserve a seat in one of the cabanas. The pool area is set up where you can enjoy adulting and still keep an eye on your children while they have a good time. We will return again during the summer!!

I am Hilton silver member. Not that it matters. Booked with hotel for ocean view room. Did not receive that. Tried to get hold of front desk. No response. All pools weee closed except one near fitness center, have to walk to entrance to get there. Good 10 min and share with homes from timeshare. They should tell u that pool located not in Hilton. Got locked out of my room. Let’s just say workers do not like moving. I had to go down and up 3. Times while we also waited in hallway. No smile, they are just plain miserable. Guess what, runs off. I also am gold member at Marriott. I was deciding if I want to switch to Hilton. 2 nd experience that’s been bad and not worth it. Will be sticking with Marriott. The only perk was made to order breakfast, just eggs made to order. Everything else was cold. The cook was amazing. That’s all the good I have to say

I’m extremely disappointed in this Embassy suites. I’m a Hilton honors member, so I travel frequently with Hilton. This hotel is not up to Embassy suite standards. I filed a complaint to Hilton corporate, as the way I was treated as a guest is unacceptable. 1. I booked a 2-night stay with a government on business rate (active military). This rate had the resort fee already added onto the rate. However, when checking out, I was charged an additional resort fee on top of the original rate. When I questioned this to the front desk, I was told it was not attached to the original rate. That was simply not true. 2. I originally booked a 2 night stay. However, after the first night, I requested a refund for the remaining nights and checked out early. The room I was provided did not have a functioning AC unit. Around 10:00 PM on the first night, I called the front desk requesting if I could be moved into another room; they stated they wouldn’t move me to another room, but they did say they would send up a repairman. Around 11:15 PM, no repairman showed up, so I went to the front desk asking what was going on. I then asked for a cancellation for the remaining night of my stay. When I walked back to my room, the repairman was at my door. He proceeded to diagnose the AC problem. Ultimately, he found the room’s AC unit to be completely full of dust and debris. The unit had not been properly cleaned, and airflow couldn’t pass through the filter. He was shocked, and immediately apologized. He reported this to front desk. These issues are unacceptable.

We stayed here this weekend. As a plus one for someone else’s work event, I was mainly there to relax and the accommodations, service and location was perfect for it. The outdoor pool area is lovely, the Sangria from the bar was so tasty and the two gift shops were pleasant to browse. The pull out bed is comfortable but a little tough to pull out. But no worries! A quick call and maintenance was up in a jiffy to lend a hand. The catered lunch (salad, brats, and burgers) was tasty and plentiful, however, the fries were too salty for me. I enjoyed the banana pudding and when the Cuban sandwich is hot and fresh it’s so good!

Love the location and the amenities. You can catch a free shuttle to the outlet mall. The beaches are clean, pools, splash pad plus with kids. Onsite reservations food was great with gluten free options
