Customer Reviews
We really enjoy our stays here. Friendly folks, love the clean gym and entire grounds. We especially like the dog friendliness and the terrific dog park! This was our third year staying at Emerald Desert and will stay again but next time longer!
This is our second stay at this resort. It has a rare combination of being a very calm and peaceful resort along with all the activities that kids enjoy. The pool is beautiful. The pool table is a top end classic model. The weekly brunches are wonderful and so reasonably priced. Mountain views and palm trees are abundant. I love riding my bike on the grounds as well as the strip outside the resort that is beautifully landscaped with desert plantings. . It’s a frequent return spot for us. It’s important to book towards the front of the resort to minimize the rattling of the train going by. My only complaint is that we splurged for a premium RV spot for few nights this last weekend. We were bumped for a longer term stay customer that apparently booked last minute. We were given another premium but for various reasons it was not nearly as suitable, yet we paid the same high price. At the very least we should have been told at the time of booking, which was in person, that this could happen. As it was we would have been happier at a much priced spot. Just a heads up with customer service, which is often excellent here, would have made a big difference. So we are wiser. Hope to help forewarn others.
The resort is beautiful and well cared for, but a few things to consider. It's right next to the train tracks and freeway so there's a 24-7 highway roar. Also, we paid an extra $25 for a premium spot, which was far more cramped than the less expensive spots and we felt like sardines with campers all around us and behind us less than 10ft away, no privacy or space at all. Do not pay to upgrade. It's not worth it!
This is a beautiful RV Resort. The facilities are really nice. Pools and exercise facility are great. Location is wonderful. My only drawback is that there are no picnic tables at the sites. The weather was fabulous but we were unable to eat outside. We were with a large group. We had a great room to meet for our 5 day rally. No outside area available. With that said, we would definitely return.
Stayed in January booked a week in February but canceled it the trip the next day in the office. Was told there would be no changes. In February our credit card was charged for the stay. Called and was told the charge would be credited and they would send us an email for documentation. Received an email stating that 200 dollars was credited, called back and was told again the charge would be credited and would send an email. Charge has been credited but no email. This is the same complaint we had in previous stay with the desk not following up.
