Very nice campground with clean restrooms and single stall showers. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, despite the flood-like 11” rains on Friday. Our spot, closest to the lake and on the bottom of the hill flooded a bit with rainwater when the rain was pouring, but had drained very swiftly as soon as the torrential rains slowed down. While the ground remained a little damp, it was not muddy at all. Having a boat tamp next to our camp was great and came in really handy.
Great place to stretch your legs, or take a bike ride breather. We appreciated the clean bathroom on the bike route and the view from the top of the observation tower, just 25 steps up.
Love camping here in the fall! Friendly hosts, clean and well maintained bathrooms, and easy access to the bike trail!! Great spot! Update - been coming for years, still a great place to be! Will note they'll be losing multiple trees and a lot of the shade around the campground in the coming years due to the emerald ash beetle.
Beautiful campground and recreation area. Mostly electric sites with some full hook up available. Clean bathhouses, nearby beach, boat launch, dump station and potable water, dog friendly! Very beautiful in the fall!
With 3 boat ramps and a lot of space for parking trucks and trailers. Nice restrooms next to the boat ramps. I haven't seen the rest of the park. As you can see, plenty of space.
