Very convenient to the Hwy and the town of Ashland. Campsites are lakefront with both pull-thru and back-in sites. Clean restrooms with hot showers. Pet friendly, Wilma loved it. Hiking trail from camp follows the lake thru an oak forest with wildflowers, manzanita and madrone trees - plus lake views! Very nice but it can get hot in the afternoon. Fishing was good in the morning, both for us and the resident osprey.

Staying at the RV park at Emigrant Lake. Great place to stay. Clean. Quiet. The views of the lake are super, especially now there is a lot more water. Been here two years running. Will be back next year as well.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The rv campground is horribly maintained. There are 2 camp hosts living here but I have no idea what they are actually doing. The park is COVERED in spiky weeds with burrs and grass awns that get stuck in your feet/clothes/shoes/dogs/children and hurt like hell. The women’s bathroom was covered in dead grass and tumble weeds. There is basically no easy lake access from the campground unless you are willing to walk down a steep hill through fields of painful weeds. The sites have next to no shade which is tolerable but not when you can’t even walk through the campsites to get to a tree. We were desperately trying to find another campground nearby to escape this place. The only thing they seem to maintain is the playground at the park entrance which is nice.

I have camped at Emigrant lake many times over the years. It has always been one of my favorites. I’m back after 15 years and it is still a great experience.

Ok campground, not 5 stars like the prior review. They don't water the grass even though this is a reservoir for irrigation and there were tons of the round burr stickers, goat heads and some other stickers we had not seen prior to coming hear. Not good for the dogs, each walk was followed by pulling lots of stickers from their paws. Wife also complained she saw large cockroaches scurrying around the campsite at night. Nice views and the hook ups were good. Sewer was pretty far back at the rear of the site so bring a 15' long hose. Camp host seemed very nice.
