Great place to camp for free.. up to 14 days. Camp sites are dispersed and there's only 11 of them, so get in early to get a spot. Roads are washed out so a truck is advised.
Spots fills up pretty fast as there is not much camping around Prescott. 7 day stay only. The rangers do watch to see whos hanging out too long. Usually trash left at most campsites and very few actually clean up. No bathrooms water or electric here.
Always beautiful and for the most part kept up as far as trash pick up and cleanliness. Wonderful place to stay the night take the kids hike and explore
