Encore Miami Everglades

Great stay! Everything was very clean and well kept. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I stayed Christmas week and enjoyed their holiday get together. The site was spacious with great walking trails, large pool, and a clean dog park. I’ll definitely be returning.

This park is what RVing is all about. It is in a gorgeous setting, peaceful and quiet. This is the place to get away from life for a few days! Well maintained, pull through sites, pool & hot tub, with activities... This is excellent example of old school camping.

Staff was courteous. Appreciated being able to receive packages. With that being said it’s completely ridiculous that an establishment does not accept cash as a form of payment. Amenities lacked, what was advertised is not what was received. Booked during a holiday with the belief that there would be activities scheduled and planned. There was absolutely nothing. The pool was nice and my kids enjoyed that. The shuffleboard looked well maintained but o don’t play. The pickleball court pictures looked nice but upon playing there ground is cracked and uneven, there is no fence and it’s very windy which made playing difficult. Also knew there was some construction happening and we dealt with the noise and dust, but having banging and beeping at 6:30 in the morning on Thanksgiving was ridiculous. Lastly annoying that there are roosters and chickens coming from a neighborhood farm that wander through the campground and like to crow as early as 4:30 in the morning. Not to mention 2 stray dogs also from the neighborhood, one of which was a larger dog and I was told is aggressive to smaller dogs while walking mine to be careful. Would not recommend coming back. Not worth it.

The common areas are nice but the sites are dumps with roosters at 7:30am and beep, beep, beep of construction vehicles in front of our site, every morning. I had requested a different site but supposedly they were booked full. Funny, they were almost empty by the time we left. I booked here, 5 months ago, requesting a quiet site but got the worst one. Our site had ditches that caused me to twist my ankle. We were able to get a small area by the RV steps filled and somewhat level. The walking trails are have many dangerous areas that were lifted by tree roots and never flattened. I would have asked for a rate reduction but the rig next to us, has a former employee living there, and he said it would never happen. I HATED it here.

Miami Everglades is our favorite Thousand Trails! So much to do, well kept and clean and the staff is always helpful. There is an awesome pool with giant shade umbrellas, a miniature golf course, a huge party room and deck, a big clean laundry room, a large camp store, and more! Best part is you're 30-60 minutes from downtown Miami (depends on traffic and where you want to go) but the campground in in the Miami s agricultural area so it's beautiful and safe. The sites are large, And most have a picnic table and a concrete slab, with lots of beautiful landscaping and gorgeous trees.
