Kudos to thousand trails and the program for Encore RV Resorts. This is just a beautiful park. They care about the appearance. Went so far as to remove old roads and installed 1 in thick new asphalt everywhere. Understand I did this for 15 years and I only see a good result with minimal comeback. Go ahead and try to get away from a comeback It just don't happen. With that said all good things come to those that wait and look what you have done for us. Thank you Encore Oasis of Cathedral City
We booked on our way to Texas for a one nighter. There was a lot of permanent rvs and their cable hook up was very hard to work with. And a lot of empty rvs that people left for future use.
Checked in for one night stay placed in a state that was in our opinion too small we went back to ask for a new site, and the woman seemed quite a retaliated, but reluctantly gave us a new site despite many open sites the second say it was better, but could use some updating. The pool and hot tub are great and open 24 hours. Nice treat the bathrooms were clean but each only had one toilet and one shower definitely needed more. I would stay again, but likely on the other side of the campground, the road noise was a little bit much. Sunset was awsome!
You said nothing about needing a laundry card to do one load of laundry. No one was available to help me. Why give me the code to the laundry room if you don't tell me that it takes a special card to run a load?
We were staying here as part of our thousand trails membership. It was awful. We have a 35’ travel trailer that barely fit on the pad. Our car had to be parked so close to our camper that you opened the camper door right into the car- no space to be outside whatsoever. Someone and her husband came and yelled at our kids for playing outside-directly in front of our camper. You have to buy a $5 dollar laundry card ( and then load money onto it) to use the laundry and the machine only takes $5’s or larger - so plan accordingly. If you want to use the pool you have to give $25 deposit for a pool key. To get our camper in it’s spot the man across from us has to move his truck- which he jumped up and did immediately. Our neighbor was the absolute kindest man. Thousand Trails calls this resort “family friendly” …which really just means you can make a reservation here if you have kids. It’s probably fine for “snowbirds” with a small/ moderate size rig looking for an affordable spot in Palm Springs. I can not recommend it for anyone with kids or a larger rig.
