Great for camping and 4wheeling. And if you drive another 15mins same road you can go to the lake (mohwich lake) spelling may be off.
Super cold at night but loved it!! Such an adventure!!!
They have upgraded too more camp spots!!! :). If your looking for a campground out next to Mt. Rainer this is your place... Keep in mind you will be camping with 4x4 and motorcycle folks.. Got to be honest we can be a bit loud at night and during the day. We do have respect for the area as we have very few to use these days. Camp spots are clean and we'll maintained. Thank you, National Forest Service for your work in keeping this place open for us 4x4 folk. Your work does not go unnoticed.. Also a side not you will need a Forest Service Pass. I do believe you can get a day pass from some of the gas stations in the area.
I've had nothing but great experiences here. Even the worst case wasn't too bad. Our rig was stuck on the trail several years ago and the next morning we hiked down to the lower lot. A bunch of Jeep guys helped us out and got our rig down, thanks guys. Great community of trail riders. However, they're have been horror stories of broken down rigs being raided or even stolen overnight. 5 stars nonetheless.
Camping very bumpy roads on the way up there. Pretty decent camp grand outhouses and water pumps . Bring toilet paper they don't provide any in our houses and a stick to clear the Webb's.
