We have had a great time here. The staff have been awesome, the park is clean and well maintained. The view is great. Camping options are tent sites (no electricity) = $10 a night, and electric spots are $15 per night. Clean bathrooms and showerhouse. I'll add more photos soon.
I spent the afternoon by the river. Had a picnic and enjoyed the view. This is a small river access area with camp sites available. Fcfs
Great relaxing place to be! Electrical hookups only but there are water pumps located throughout the campgrounds
Quiet and private. Right on River for good fishing. Private bathrooms was a nice change from other campsites.
Nice campground. Just looking for a place for the night while heading north to the Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge and then eastward to the Mighty Mississippi River. It was perfect. Well maintained. Safe. Families. There are two sides. Hard to determine coming in at night. Having a wooden, engraved sign at the entrance, showing the layout, would have been helpful. Access the second portion by going underneath the road/bridge at the Des Moines River. I would stay here again.
