Amazing! Within the first 2 min we saw our first gator! We saw quite a few throughout the park after that. This park is filled with lots of great board walks and walking trails. Plan to spend a whole day here . Lots of wildlife and plant life to see. I will be going back one day! The price you pay for entry is totally worth it. If you love the outdoors add this national park to your list.
Went in January. I was surprised by how great of an experience it was compared to my first trip 15+ years ago. Luckily my fiance and I had no encounters with vultures, and we went on a cool sunny day. Thank you to all the rangers for doing a great job maintaining the trails and buildings.
Highly recommend for nature lovers! Beautiful landscapes to hike and explore, with incredible wildlife. We were able to spot most of the wildlife and enjoy birdwatching. Such a peaceful place to spend the day, and the ticket being valid for a 7 days makes it easy to explore the entire park.
Not my favorite National Park, but worth the stop. Glad the speed limit is 55 mph because the drive through is fairly boring, not the stunning mountain views of other parks. I did enjoy the two hikes that we did, but the paddle from Flamingo was pretty bland.
Been there a few times with family visiting from out of state. This is a perfect place to spend a half day biking on the trail we must have seen 50 pr 60 gators on the side of the bike trail.
