Personally, I loved these cabins. If you're the average "rich" lake placid vacationer then they aren't for you, but if you're someone who just enjoys the outdoors and are coming to see the area then they're great. I made a list of all of the things they offer below, which I was NOT expecting in a tiny cabin I rented just because I didn't have my tent available. I will say that the "safety" is questionable, because the windows and doors don't seem to latch well, but again, as someone who usually sleeps in a tent, this wasn't too concerning for me. I also really appreciated that the owner didn't make a fuss of me showing up late, and instead made arrangements for me to easily access the cabin without needing him there. Cabins themselves: dog friendly heating (I came in late October and was plenty warm) shower sink toilet television table fridge I *think* there was also a coffee pot and microwave, but I didn't use either, so I can't remember for sure.

Do not book this property. It seriously should be condemned. Going to contact the Chamber of Commerce to let them know what Lake Placid tourists are experiencing. Never stayed at such a rundown place. Owner, Lynn, rude and no help. No stars here.

Place is a scam. The area has seasonal demand that keeps places like this in business as vacationers get desperate. The cabins are not cabins, no cooking or kitchen at all but small, musty motel rooms with a mini fridge on the road side in the middle of several tourist trap Scam businesses. Noise, traffic, hustle.
