this was our second trip to Tenaya. last time we stayed in the hotel. this time we stayed in the explorer cabin. we came here for a trip with friends and their family so the kids can have a good time. The explorer cabin was totally worth it. we arrived at 1:00 p.m. and early check-in was available. people staying at the explorer cabin get access to the clubhouse 24 hours a day. The clubhouse is a place for you to lounge around there's also a self-serve kiosk where you can grab food and drinks to go. they provide free breakfast every morning from 7:00 to 9:00 which included bagels oatmeal cereal coffee muffins yogurt and fresh fruit. from 5:00 to 6:00 there is a wine hour. and from 6:00 to 9:00 is a s'mores buffet. they also have a free shuttle that will take you back and forth from the main hotel. The hotel has an indoor pool that is heated with two hot tubs. every night at 6:30 they show a movie at the pool. The game room is also connected to the pool area. The game room has a few arcades a ski ball machine two foosball machines and air hockey machine an area to sit and watch movies and a little tent for the kids to play in. in the winter time they also have an ice rink and it's free for guests to skate it's part of the resort amenity fees included with your room. we also dined at jackalope which had really good food. The lobby also had a pianist in the evening which was very nice. we had two days of beautiful warm weather and on the day that we left it snowed a lot which was a shock from the previous two days weather.
Wow, what a great experience. It was much better than expected. Has a living area with a small kitchenette and a fireplace. Two bedrooms with really nice bathroom. A porch outside the master bedroom looked out into the forest and creek. Each room has a heating air-conditioned unit. Continental breakfast and smoores at the Clubhouse. Firepits are open in the evenings. Transport to the main lodge is just a phone call away. We've stayed at the main lodge and cottages before, and this was the best time getting close to nature. The employees are very excellent and hospitable. Jackalope restaurant at the main lodge is really good, and there is a pizza parlor on site too. We loved it!!! Thank you, Tenaya at Yosemite!!!
These are awesome! Super clean, affordable and close to everything. The complementary smores were a major hit with the kids. Will definitely stay here again!
Nice cabin with two bedrooms and a living room. Our cabin balcony overlooks a very pretty creek.
They were actually quite nice. I was impressed. Bonfires were great each evening.
