This was my second time staying there. This time I was there for 6 months and could not ask for a better experience. The staff was extremely helpful. Front desk was always welcoming and cheerful. They always made you feel like your home and part of the family from remembering your name to remembering you schedule and preferences. Cindy the manager is amazing. She scheduled my housekeeper for a time she knew I'd be at work. She made sure I always had what I needed. Sarah always had a smile on her face and could always make you laugh. She is polite and welcoming. All the staff including Diego at the front desk to the housekeepers to Will in maintenance. They are great with communication when there was work being done or they needed to enter the room. I will definitely be staying there again when I'm back in Santa Barbara.

Great place to stay. This is a standard 2 star hotel designed for extended stays with in unit kitchenette. Staff is helpful and rooms are clean and generally well taken care of. Conveniently located close to the highway. Rooms and furnishings are somewhat dated (though I think they're renovating soon). If you're looking for something decent and affordable, this place is my first choice and easy to recommend.

The location was great in regards to coming and going to UCSB. I was drawn to this room because I needed a kitchen, but that did not work out well. You have to check out all your utensils pots and pans. The absolute best part about the hotel was a kind staff. Other than that, I would not recommend it at all. It is under construction, which we did not learn of until we arrived late at night. Also, the rooms were not clean enough. We had to deal with bugs and the outside of the fridge had gross handprints and a thick layer of dust. The A/C Unit leaked substantial water and soaked our tote with our electronics in it. Besides the location and the kind staff, I would not stay there again.

Guys, there was rodent feces on my bed. There were little smears on the bathroom door. Clearly the ownership looks at this place as a “it’s the cheapest option in SB, people will deal with it.” Kind of hotel. I was told I couldn’t change rooms dude to availability, but I don’t buy it. I requested new sheets and even they smelled weird. The towels were yellow. It’s just sad to see a place like this. Spend the extra $50 and go elsewhere. Really bad.

There was a weird smell in the room, smelled extremely stuffy, hopefully not mold. The room looked wiped down, but the corners were not quite clean. The iron handle was sticky. There was significant dirt and dust under the bed. Its a small thing, but the fridge door opens on the a side close to a wall that makes it mildly obnoxious to get in and out. My big issue is that the front desk was frankly combative. I needed to check out early, but needed a cost comparison quote to demonstrate to my company that it was indeed cheaper, otherwise I would be required to pay out of pocket. It may seem silly, and indeed is bureaucratic, but that is their policy. Rather than helping me, the front desk questioned why I even needed it, and was downright rude and berating. I thought it was just perhaps the person behind the desk at the time, so I went at a different time, and received the same experience. Eventually I was able to get a hand written note, written while literally grumbling about how silly it was. I KNOW it was silly. It was unnecessarily painful. I will not be staying here again, nor do I recommend it to others. It is not worth the low price or good location.
