Extended Stay America Select Suites - Ocala

I stayed here for 15 days with my husband and our dog and we both were impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed. The room smelled fresh and all linens were clean and crisp. We both got a great night sleep every night. The room had a large refrigerator which was nice to stock up for our stay. The kitchenette was perfect to prepare a quick meal, but there were many dining options available to eat out if you prefer. The on site laundry was convenient and well cleaned. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Rose assisted me when I lost my room key about a week into the stay and showed great professionalism while replacing it. For the fair price, friendly staff, general cleanliness and it being dog friendly, I will stay here again and again. 10 stars 🌟

I have been staying at this location for a little over a year now and yes it has some bad, but I’m not going to focus on that. I wanna give a shout out to Patricia and Jess for being so kind. They have worked with me a lot and if it wasn’t for them doing everything they can to help me, I would be on the street. They both brighten my day by making me laugh or just being a welcoming face after a long day. They definitely are the glue that holds this place together and I feel as though they don’t get enough credit for everything they do for the company.

I haven't even tried to sleep yet, but I can bet I won't be doing much of it in a roll away bed. I asked the clerk & she said it's a regular bed. I beg to differ...definitely not the typical hotel bed & not comfortable at all! Supposed to be non smoking but there is a strong smoke & pot odor throughout. There are tiny dead roaches in the cabinets. The bed cover has spots. No complementary coffee!!! I came to Ocala for work & ended up having to stay the night. It's difficult to book a good hotel, site unseen, for a decent price. You don't even get what you pay for anymore. I'm really disappointed! At least I don't think there are any bed bugs...I checked.

Checked into the hotel in October for a job transfer. Patricia, Rose, Jess and the whole rest of the staff have been phenomenal! They allowed my two pets, and the room is spacious, has a sink, cupboards, a half stove and a full fridge. Parking is abundant, and they maintain the check ins and check outs with ease. The property is well maintained and clean. They even have regular air conditioner cleanings every 3 months. Property is 20 minutes from downtown Ocala, fast food restaurants and gas stations. There is also Walmart located 7 minutes from the hotel. Recommended!

Patricia was great, very nice and patient. She represents the motel great. Always dressed nice and she’s been there a while and is very knowledgeable even saw her handle situations like a pro. They need more employees like her. I’ve seen the other girl in pajama pants lol.
