Extended Stay America Suites - Bristol

Sandra was very accommodating while I stayed here. She was very pleasant and made my stay comfortable. She even gave me a tote that had a coffee pot, pots, pans, and plates. Thanks Sandra for making my stay a good one.

Room in extremely poor condition. Bathroom is disgusting. Ceiling above bathtub is falling apart and looks like mold is present. Missing hot water fixture cover. Stains and hair in bathtub appears it wasn’t cleaned Room smells like a cigarette ashtray. Checking in the person at the counter could care less about anything did bare minimum to check me in. They don’t even ask information about your car so not keeping track of who’s parking in the parking lot.

First room they checked me into hadn't been cleaned. Bed was messed up, used coffee cups on the counter, with trash from the coffee on the counter as well. Went and talked to the front desk and they put me up in a 4th floor room. None of the elevators work and it looks like they just don't want to pay for maintenance on them because they have a permanent sign stating elevators don't work. The room they put us in smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. The cover for the air conditioner was laying on the ground and they obviously don't really clean that well. All along the tub there was loose dirt and in the corners of the bathroom piles of dirt. Piles of cigarette butts on the landings in the stairwells that are walked over by staff everyday and not cleaned up. There was a walmart shopping cart at the bottom of the stairwell we used with a rotting banana peel in it too. It's probably still there and this was weeks ago. Overall, this place is nasty and so are the people that stay there and the staff doesn't take pride in the cleanliness of the place. Pictures are the first room they put us in as soon as we walked into it.

When I got to the room and opened the door the smell hit you in the face. Like a wet damp smell! We had no cable all night. There was hair in the tub we had to clean before taking a shower. Flys were everywhere in the room and the metal beds were loud and uncomfortable. I was there 10 min and asked for a refund. The towels are the size of the floor towels at most hotels. There were cigarette burns all over the side of the tub. There was no seating except for one rolling chair. I asked house keeping for extra towels and was asked a million questions as to why I needed extra towels. She wasn’t very nice. One of the ladies at the desk was nice. It wasn’t clean. I took Clorox wipes and wiped the floors down. I will never stay there again and never accept an offer to stay there. Paint was peeling off the walls so if you book this place according to the photos you are being deceived. I was appalled at the place.

I felt like I was in a jail cell. I understand these are long term facilities. But what I was appalled by is that they painted the walls in the rooms, they got paint all of the head board, the ceiling, the floors, etc. It states it was newly remodeled? Where? I’m confused because the bathtub in the room was severely cracked, chipped etc. the side tables were chipped and broken. The headboard was broken and the bed was absolutely terrible. The walls were the colored of grayish blue and just made you feel like it was so small. I also don’t understand why you have rusted bed frames in the rooms as well. Everything about it was dirty and cheap. The AC didn’t work either. We were in there for 45 mins, didn’t even unpack our things out of the vehicle. We decided to check out and ask for a full refund. The front desk clerk tried to work everything out with us and offered to view another room but we found another hotel closer to where we needed to be and was a bit cheaper as well. She did no wrong, she apologized multiple times and I will not bad mouth her for any reason. She was super nice, unfortunately I did not catch her name. I hope they really do take some of the reviews they get to better their facility. It has a huge opportunity to be a gorgeous and busy establishment!
