Overall I would pick this hotel again over The Newberry right in the heart of downtown. The Fairfield has a convenient location, free breakfast and quiet rooms. Recommending to everyone I know, thank you Vicky! I appreciated your hospitality!
Would not recommend. Outdated hotel, musky smell in building greets you instantly. Walls were splattered with questionable grime, smell in the room was unpleasant and stale, noise from the highway and a leaky bathroom faucet greeted me in room. If it wasn’t late in the night when I checked in I would of turned around immediately. Bed was worn out and uncomfortable to match poor quality pillows. I suggest paying a few dollars more for a nicer place, or a few dollars less for the same quality at motel 6. Not sure why Marriott still holds this hotel under their name.
Excellent hotel with great service. The breakfast, parking, jacuzzi, and clean room were all fantastic. I've stayed in many places, and this hotel team truly stands out!
I enjoyed my stay! The front desk staff and especially Donnie (with maintenance) were all very friendly and helpful!
Didn’t expect perfect but the walls are extremely thin, lots of plumbing noise, road noise is excessive for the amount of traffic/speed with proper sound proofing it really shouldn’t be that loud.
