What a perfect location! The views on the water and back patio are gorgeous, especially at sunset! Loved having the restaurant right next door as their food was terrific but plenty of other things in walking distance as long as you don't come in the winter when many businesses are still closed. Seems like mid-April might be the sweet spot to visit the island. Room was great, no complaints. Good breakfast with waffles and all staff were very hospitable. Would definitely stay again. The snacks available for purchase up front were awesome, too 👍
I stayed at the Fairfield Inn during a business trip and was thoroughly impressed with the staff, the surroundings, my room and the breakfast. The staff is welcoming from the moment you walk through the door! The building sits on water so it's absolutely beautiful particularly in the evenings. My room was clean and comfortable AND it also sat on water and had a small deck to sit and watch the water. The breakfast was great and the ladies who prepared the food were very kind! If you want more, there is a restaurant right next to the hotel which also sits on the water. I felt like I had accidentally had a vacation!!! Beautiful! Finally, I want to give a big shout out to Ms. Shelby!! She is so welcoming and so kind!!! From the moment I entered to checking out she showed she cares! Thank you to Ms. Shelby and the staff for a beautiful stay!
I stayed one night at Fairfield Inn & Suites Chincoteague Island Waterfront, and it was an excellent experience! The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety, and my room was spotless and comfortable, with a beautiful water view. The location is perfect—very walkable to nearby shops and restaurants, which made exploring the island easy and enjoyable. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome. Highly recommend this hotel for a convenient and comfortable stay in Chincoteague!
The location, rooms, staff, etc. were awesome. I am giving the rate a 4 because of other hotel patrons. The pool area was very nice on Saturday afternoon. Many families with children were enjoying the area pool. Everything changed around 3:00 p.m. when a group of people, mostly men, started arriving in the pool area with coolers filled with alcohol. As the evening progressed, this group took over the area with loud behavior similar to a "Frat House." Their loud behavior continued until around 11:00 p.m. In addition to the frat party, I had the "Energizer Bunny" over my head, who marched back and forth until around 1:00 a.m. The same Bunny was back up by 5:00 a.m. So, that was my experience.
Nice location on Chincoteague Island. The rooms are clean and attendants great you work a smile. Walking distance from a few restaurants.
