Fairfield Inn & Suites Muskegon Norton Shores

Me & my family as well as several hockey families had a great stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and just hanging out and of course the fresh cookies! Chad the Assistant Manager was awesome! Chad was very helpful, the service was great, and any of our concerns or questions he took care of it right way. I highly recommend Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Easy check-in process. Breakfast was the same every morning during our 4 day stay and empty for almost an hour on Friday morning - no eggs or bacon. I would have liked to see a little bit of variety in the breakfast offerings during our stay. Orange juice was out of order all weekend. No 2% milk. The milk labeled 2% near the coffee station did not seem like 2%. There were cookies when we arrived back at the hotel after lunch, so that was a great surprise. All the staff was friendly, but the lady during the evening who helped me open a bottle of wine was so sweet and friendly! She went above and beyond! The hot tub was a great addition to our relaxing weekend. The hotel is in a great area just outside of the main strip but still walking distance from many different stores. The one elevator they have tends to be super busy during peak hours and can cause quite the wait. Housekeeping did a refresh on our room during our stay, and it was nice to come back to the hotel to a made bed and fresh towels after a day of exploring the area.

Every staff member was next level in their customer service skill set. I never felt like a burden. The bathroom needs an upgrade, and while I hate to bring this up, the breakfast was WAY below average. I feel it's important to mention that the breakfast was not due to a staff member but due to a poor layout from the hotel ownership.

I stayed here this past weekend with my girlfriend to enjoy the beaches at Grand Haven Beaches, which were great, but my review leans towards the Fairfield Hotel in Muskegon, Michigan. When we walked into our service, the front lady was incredible. She told us a little bit about the area and what to do around here. We next arrived in the room; everything was clean, the bed was good, and our view outside our window was good as we saw stores surrounding the area of the hotel. I really have no complaints about this hotel. The breakfast was fine enough to satisfy us for the morning, and I would definitely come back if we’re around the area of Muskegon again.

Room was very dusty and the heater was blowing cold air. Also had the over night person tell me they had no extra pillows till morning so I had to sleep with out a pillow as my son did not have one for the pull out couch bed. The girl that check us in and was there this morning when we left is great. They should have the night people work with her
