Fairfield Inn & Suites Virgin Zion National Park

Stayed here while visiting Zion National Park. As far as the location, it couldn’t have been better. It was a very easy/quick drive into the park. Reasonably priced compared to the hotels in the park/closer to the park entrance. The hotel itself was updated and modern. Our room was updated, clean, and we had a beautiful view of the red rocks from our window. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable. The only reason I gave the room 4 stars instead of 5 was that the walls were slightly thin (one night we had a neighbor who left their TV on loud and this was noticeable), though I’ve stayed in hotels with much thinner walls/hallway noise. Breakfast was included and was excellent with a good variety of options. Free water bottles were also provided by the front desk, as many as you wanted, each day. The hotel had a great gym as well with free weights and enough equipment to have a decent workout. Overall, really enjoyed the stay here. A good hotel can be hard to find. The hotel is in a beautiful location not only from a drive-ability standpoint into the national park, but also the surrounding landscape and views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. It was modern, comfortable, and very reasonably priced for a week long stay. If/when we visit Zion again, we will certainly be booking our stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites.

Rooms are nice. Hotel service was poor. They make you beg to get your room refreshed during your stay and even when we asked to get on that list we came home after a long day only to find they had not come. We did not have a do not disturb sign on our door. Also, even trying a various times of day our shower only put out lukewarm water even when turned all the way up. Don’t stay here if St George is your destination. This is a decent location only for going to Zions. Breakfast was average.

No hot tub, no breakfast, no sleep and no compensation. A pipe burst during my stay, which caused the hot tub and pool area to be closed, and no breakfast service. To top it off, I was moved to another building next to very noisy people. The front desk didn't answer the phone, so at 1:30AM I went down and talked to the front desk manager, who said he'd handle it, but didn't. I asked for an adjustment to my bill at check out and was offered 2000 Marriott points ($10) and told I should have gone to a different hotel. I asked to speak to the manager on duty, but was told no one was available. I finally did speak to Jorge, the front desk manager, after calling back a few times (he never tried to contact me) and he was unconcerned about my poor experience and would not adjust my bill. Next time I'm in Zion, I'll be staying elsewhere. Reply to owner: Your response to people that write negative reviews is that they are lying. When I changed rooms, the front desk agent told me that the hot tub was closed due to the pipe breaking. During the night I called the front desk, no one answered, so perhaps that's why you can't find a record of it. Eventually,I went out of the building into the 15 degree weather to access the front desk at 1:30AM, I didn't imagine this. The front desk agent said they would call the noisy neighbors. Neighbors continued being disruptive. In the morning, breakfast room was out of commission due to pipe breaking and ceiling tiles collapsing into that area. No breakfast was available. You and your staff lack training in customer service and it is disappointing that your first response is that the customer lied.

Beautiful hotel with clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms in a resort-like setting. The pool was closed for the season during our stay but we were still able to enjoy their wonderful hot tub. A great home base for exploring Zion NP just minutes away from Springdale in a quiet area.

Beautiful property. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous and very accommodating. We arrived at 3 Am in the morning, but had no issues in checking in and we were given our room keys in 5 mins. Also they let us check out late too! Close to Zion National park. Easy drive to restaurants and stores. Loved staying here and would definitely want to come back!
