Fallen Leaf Lake is like a hidden lake one of my friend recommended, I was a bit skeptical while driving there but once I got there it was absolutely worth the visit. The road to get there is rough with a lot of potholes, so you'll need to take it slow, but trust me, it's totally worth it. There's parking available at the marina, and the views are simply stunning. The drive itself is also beautiful and peaceful, making the whole experience even better. A must-visit for sure!
I wanted to get away from the crowd and was looking for a hidden gem, so decided to give this place a try. The road to fallen leak lake is poorly managed one lane road. It takes ~15 minutes to drive 3 miles. There is not much to see or do unless you’re renting a boat. There is no parking along the way because they all are private property. The view of lake is beautiful.
Beautiful lake with cam aces by a small hike ! Less crowded than the other parts of the lake ! The water is incredible! Highly recommend families with kids who like to spend time in water !
The most beautiful small lake with snow mountain reflection. Didn't expect it to be so beautiful, somehow even beating Lake Tahoe given the mountain feels much closer.
Visited this beautiful place this June, it was a last spot in our Tahoe trip. Such an amazing ambiance. Clear turquoise waters, surrounded by forest and snowy mountains! Definitely planning to come back to see waterfalls and do kayaking.
