Welcome to Fallen Timber Campground & RV Park, nestled in the heart of Water Valley, Alberta. This unique campground is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those who love dirt biking and quad riding. With direct access to a network of trails right from the campground, Fallen Timber offers an unparalleled experience for adventure seekers.
The campground features a mix of challenging and relaxing terrains, catering to riders of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a beginner, you'll find the trails both exciting and rewarding. The sites at Fallen Timber are spacious, designed to accommodate trucks and trailers, making it easy for you to bring all your gear. However, it's important to note that most sites are better suited for tents, with only a few capable of handling larger trailers.
While Fallen Timber does not offer power, water, or sewer hookups, the natural beauty and thrilling trails more than make up for it. Please be aware that there is no onsite staff, so the campground can get loud and rowdy at night. This campground is best suited for those who are passionate about dirt biking and quad riding, as it may not be the ideal choice for those looking for a quieter, more traditional camping experience.
Customer feedback highlights the exceptional trail access and the spacious sites, making Fallen Timber a favorite among riders. Many visitors appreciate the ability to ride directly from the campground to the trails, eliminating the need for additional transportation. While some note the lack of amenities, the overall experience is highly praised for its adventure and excitement.

This is one of the few campgrounds that allows you to ride your dirt bike or quad right out of it and to the trails. The trails are amazing and the terrain is a mixture of challenging and relaxing. Most of the stalls in the campground are big enough for tents and only a couple could handle a trailer so plan ahead!
Excellent single track riding and quad trails right from campground. Upper loop is seasonal, lower loop is reservation/first come. Sites are big to accomodate trucks and trailers. Expensive for a site with no power, water or sewer. No onsite staff so can get loud and rowdy at night. Not recommended if you dont quad or dirt bike.
This is an awesome place especially for OHV enthusiasts. I was able to ride my dirtbike out if my campsite to access the trails and they provide the fire wood free of charge! I'll definitely stay here again.
Nice campground that allows OHV. However on long weekends they really should enforce the quite time rules after 11pm.
Waiparous gem. Great campground in the heart of Alberta OHV country. Prime example of Alberta's commitment to balancing conservation and recreation.
